Welcome. I am an associate professor of political science at Temple University in Philadelphia. My research focuses on political parties and elections, primarily in India. My book, Why Regional Parties? Clientelism, Elites, and the Indian Party System, was published by Cambridge University Press in 2016. It is now available in paperback. My other research has been published in journals such as the American Political Science Review, Journal of Politics, Perspectives on Politics, Comparative Politics, ​Electoral Studies, and Party Politics among others.
